Last October we attempted to shoot a music video for this same song but winter welcomed us with the first snowfall of the year, making it difficult to continue shooting that day. I remember how stoked I was with all the ideas I had for it, but I'm glad that the original didn't follow through, otherwise we wouldn't of had the opportunity to make this one.
Throughout 2020 I've had this itch to create more narrative driven videos. The more I did them the more I realized how much I looked forward to doing the next project and figuring out how I could inject a storyline into it. My narrative videos never spanned more than 1-2mins so I knew taking on Fringes, a 7-minute song, was going to be a challenge. Fortunately, we had some great minds come together to help bring this vision to life. After a couple online sessions with the members of @goodinformation.music and @thrvht we were able to organize a cast of friends, as well as pull together a theme that complimented Fringes. It really does feel surreal to me to have worked on such an exciting project with musicians I fanboy over.
TY to the talented cast and everyone involved. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS PROJECT AS MUCH AS I ENJOYED PUTTING THIS TOGETHER.

"Told through a nostalgic early 2000s lens, 'Fringes' chases three fleeting idyllic summers filled with warm nights biking in the streets, young love that feels forever, and days when work doesn’t feel like work."
