Random subject but I obsess over the topic of space because of how little we really know about it. I’m always eager to read on our new discoveries every morning and hearing the progression in science and space exploration *shakes vigorously*. So instead of keeping all these new findings to myself I thought it would be cool to share some of the newest information about what's been going on out there, starting with China's new rover!
Back in December China launched a special payload to the dark side of the moon! *cue Pink Floyd*. The rover, Chang’e 4, for the first time landed on the unfamiliar side. Just earlier today it was able to share several photos of its touchdown and the area around it. Even though the photos that come back from these missions resemble barren wastelands it excites me to know how far human achievement has taken us. Possibly in the not too distant future we’ll be able to terraform these planets (once we figure out the mess we made on Earth). Chang’e 4 will be conducting many tests but I think one of the coolest ones is what it carries. A mini “biosphere” containing plant seeds and insect eggs (silkworms). This biosphere is to act like a self sustaining ecosystem, that is, if it proves to be successful growing in a place completely different to ours. TAKE THAT IN! SPACE BUGS WHAT?!
Anyways here’s the link to the article if you found this interesting.

I believe we’re about to experience a new space race and I can’t be anymore excited to hear what's to be found in 2019.
