Train From Yoro Station

Biggest project yet…

Modeling this reminded me of the train ride we took from Yoro Station back to Kyoto. There was such a strong contrast of train carts in more rural parts of Japan to the ones in the city; emptier, louder, and a little bit rickety but certainly full of character.

This project was a big learning experience for me in figuring how to model different shapes, creating convincing textures, and animating a scene to bring it to life.

A two day render. Was it worth it? I think so.
